Businessman Tony Morgan sees his company, Internet Eyes, as the future with an army of volunteer spies monitoring live CCTV footage online and alerting police to any criminal activity they witness. Their only incentive is a monthly prize of £1,000 for the best crime spotter of the month yet more than 10,000 recruits have already signed up?A need to be Big Brothers like Brown and Darling?

I have been into Labour myself, I find work to be a little more honest, however am amazed that so many expected an apology from Tony Blair, even if he did make a poor calculation on Iraq. While he may feel responsible for many deaths in there - most at the hands of other muslim radicals on their Islamic 'brothers' There were no complaints when we sent troops into Kosovo to stop ethnic cleansing - an activity Saddam Hussein was involved in to an even larger degree. It's the loss of so many soldiers, sons and daughters - mostly in Afghanistan (a totally pointless war) that bugged the public. However, Brown has been Prime Minister now for over a year.And he's still sending more troops in. So why do the public get so incensed abour the Iraq war....there has been wars every 20 years or so for thousands of years. Perhaps, some don't see that our culture has changed now, to the point where we try to deny wars as part of natural human activity for many reasons. Not the least parents who want their children to have what they didn't have - now shops,TV and the interent temp every child in the world with magical items.

A forest fire brings on new and better growth and no matter how horrible is sounds, all wars have advanced technologies in many fields. The only goof thing a war gives us.The world now has 7.8 Billion on a small planet. Half are in poverty - and nature has failed to prune like it used to. No plagues, no pestilence of great note. Ok, a few tragic natural disasters like Haiti, but overall we breed almost faster than rabbits it seems. The nuclear age was supposed to do a major pruning - that's if you believe there's something behind so-called natures plan - species re-adjustment - whatever you want to call it. Most seem to call it by the word 'God' but, whatever it is, somehow it's breaking down. Almost to the point that if it continues this way, in a 100 years there wil be 70% starvation and only standing room. I agree, war, pestilence and plague no longer work, but all will be with us for a long time yet we are NOT a civilized species, so why the indignation?

FAMOUS RACING AUTHOR DIES
Writer Dick Francis, famous for his horse racing-based crime novels, has died aged 89. Francis, who wrote some 40 best-selling novels during his career, was also a champion jockey in the 1940s and 50s and was the Queen Mother's jockey.
Francis first published his autobiography in 1957, and his first thriller, Dead Cert, followed five years later.Francis' most recent works, 'Dead Heat' and 'Silks,' were co-authored by his son, Felix.

The Dubai Racing Club started its scheduledfor the 2010 carnival leading up to the Dubai World Cup (UAE-G1), and the opening card featurered the Al Maktoum Challenge-Round 1 (UAE-G3) The 2010 DIRC is not only a highlight for the international racing community, but was also a source of local pride with the opening of Meydan Racecourse.
The 76-million-square-foot project includes a hotel, a museum, ten restaurants, a marina, an IMAX theater, a canal, and space to park more than 10,000 camels!

SENIOR HAMAS LEADER MURDERED IN DUBAI HOTEL - MOSSAD MAIN SUSPECTS
Just as I thought I was in the safest part of the M E there has been a 'murder most foul' committed close by, as dear old Grand Auntie Agatha would have said. On the left Ahmoud al Mabhouh holds a picture of his son, a senior Hamas commander killed in Dubai, at his family home in Gaza recently.
It seems at a Hotel not so far from my apartment a senior member of the Palestinian militant group Hamas was found murdered in a Dubai hotel. Hamas has accused agents from Mossad, the Israeli Foreign Intelligence service, of assassinating Mahmoud al Mabhouh, a founder of their military wing, the Ezzedeen al Qassam Brigades. Obviously the Israeli government has not commented on the claims. In cases like this they never comment as they are accused daily of assassinations by Arab authorities of such crimes from Marrakesh to Sidi Barni. Dubai Police confirmed that the body of al Mabhouh, 50, was found on January 20, a day after he entered the country from an 'unnamed Arab state' as they said. Golly, they all sound spooky type tourists to me!
A statement from the local Police said the suspects may be European passport holders and members of an “experienced criminal gang” who had been monitoring al Mabhouh’s movements. The Boys in Blue (and I dont mean Godolphin jockeys) also seemed to feel the suspects fled the country before al Mabhouh’s body was found in a room in a hotel, which their sources last night identified as Hotel Al Bustan Rotana in Al Garhoud. Dubai Police say they are co-ordinating with Interpol on the case in an attempt to track down the killers. If Mossad was involved, then in my considered opinion, Interpol may as well go looking for Bin Laden's favourite Camel.

The source commented the victim had been ''Wacked' which means the Bell Boy (The source) clearly enjoys an awful lot of American TV Crime Shows. Speaking to Al Jazeera from the Gaza Strip, al Mabhouh’s brother, Fayeq, said the family had been informed by Hamas and “people close to the UAE authorities” that his brother had been murdered and it clearly was not a case of the Hotel Chef forgetting to cook the fresh fish imported from New Zealand six months ago (as was the theory of the Detective in charge of the case in Dubai, who was on loan from Portugal and who had worked on the Maddie MaCann case, after he saw the hole in the victims stomach)
'The fact a discharged shotgun was found close to the body and pellets were located in the victims body from the cartridge was not necessarily the cause of death,' according to the former Portugese Detective, Juan le Blunder. 'This is the Middle East, not Chicago' he said. 'Dangerous weapons of mass destruction like powerful shotguns are very rare here. It might be a cover up for the real cause of death. I am still sticking to my New Zealand rotten Fish theory - for the moment. The Mossad speculation sounds
a bit anti-semitic to me.
